Today the Nobel Peace Committee announced that this years Nobel Peace Prize is given to Liu Xiaobo for his work for Democracy in China. It is a very good decision and gives a great opportunity to talk about the need of Human Rights and Democracy in China. It is time for China to let the Chinese decide upon their own future. Liu Xiaobo is today in prison in China because of his fight for Human Rights and Democracy. He must be released. The International Community must speak up and demand that all persons that are in prison because of practising their Global Human Rights must be released. Liu Xiaobo deserves to be able to receive his Peace Prize in Oslo. Let this be the start of a global discussion about the need and the good of Democracy. Let this be the start of a new era of dialogue with China filled with respect and principles. We need to talk about more than economy and currencies in this world. We need to talk about Human Rights.
